Separate who you are from which desk you are at
An account is a login. A profile is a desk inside it — work and personal, say. A workspace is the work itself. Keeping them apart is what makes sharing one of them safe.
A profile is a desk, not a second account
A profile has no password or passkey of its own. Switching to one changes the data you are looking at, never who you are signed in as — so lending somebody a desk cannot quietly lend them the account it sits in.
Everything is scoped to the account you picked
Another account's profiles are not rendered, not fetched, and not reachable by guessing a URL. Naming someone else in a request is refused rather than served.
A profile reaches itself and never its parent. That single rule is what keeps a shared desk from becoming a shared login.
